Villars sur Ollon is a ski resort in the winter situated on a sunny south facing ledge above Lake Geneva. There is extensive skiing within the resort and links to Diableret and Glacier 3000. Other resorts, including Verbier are a 45 minute drive away.
In the summer there are mountain acitivities including Golf; tennis, both in and outdoor; swimming; horseriding; paragliidng and extensive hiking paths.
On the banks above Lake Genva there are extensive vineyards that have been classified as a world heritage site.
The nearest large towns of Montreux and Lausanne are well known for their stunning architecture and lake side locations.
Lake Geneva offers numerous watersports and a waterpark and tranquil lake trips.
